Yes. But there have been no records of this happening in the wild. There have been some injuries in sea aquariums to handlers. There was one in the news last year form Florida. There's a place in the Keys that has dolphins that are allowed to interact with people.

No large animal should be considered completely safe. Wild animals are unpredictable. And many pets are dangerous to people other than its owner(s).

If one wanted to,. it could easily kill a swimmer in the water but I have never heard of such an incident. Just the same I wouldn't provoke one. I have heard stories that a dolphin came across an exhausted swimmer caught in currents, unable to reach shore and the dolphin let the person grab on and swam them to the beach.

very easily ,
they have a snout that is solid bone ,and with speed they can give a large shark a big enough blow ,to give it a brain hemorrhage.

lucky for us Dolphins like people and there are many legends and stories of Dolphins saving people lives

i have had contact with Dolphins myself in the open ocean
they kept me company for a few days untill they got bored and moved on
i wa shanging over the side and clapping my hands and wistling ,they came very close to look me in the eye
and looking into thier eyes was like looking in to the eyes of a person ,you could see the spark of intelligence ,a very strange feeling
very exiting

Dolphins look friendly, but they arent that cute and cuddly. To be perfectly honest, I would rather be in a tank with a group of mako sharks than a school of dolphins...

(example?---- they used to call the killer whale an orca before they found out that a pod of them would tip over icebergs to eat baby seals... they attack ppl too)

YES! Oh my goodness, yes. Honey, a group of them can kill a great white shark, what do you think? They have extremely hard snouts made of cartalidge, the same suff as your nose and ears, and they can ram you with it until something either breaks or ruptures, or if they get you in the head, the blunt shock to the brain could kill you too.

Just try to think up one thing that couldn't kill somebody.

I guess they could if they wanted to, they're very smart, but it's not in their nature so it's highly unlikely that they would.
