I assume they are all males. I can't say exactly why I consider a puppy to be male, but I think of a kitten as a male because tomcats are calm and approachable whereas female cats tend to be more territorial.

it depends on the puppy or kitten.. some look more male or more female to me.. and some look androgynous, and if thats the case i treat it as female
