Does anyone know what germanium does to the human body?

I have a manditory science research project.I would really appreciate it if you could help me out.

Best to go to a Toxicology book. There are a few standard references. Offhand, I haven't run into germanium toxicity problems and it doesn't appear to be a nutrient.
