Vijaywada City, has the price possession of this gigantic Gandhi Stupa.
Actually, The tall Gandhi Stupa is situated on Gandhi Hill, and was erected in 1968, in memory of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the nation. Gandhi's teachings are aslo inscribed on stone slabs. There is also a memorial Library, a planetarium on the hill.

The Gandhi Meorial Library, sound and light show and planetarium are added attractions. From the top of the hill visitors get a panoramic view of Vijayawada.
