Are you a girl or a boy? If your a girl, Little Women would be great for you. Gullivers Travel, Treasure Island, Don Quixote would be good, remember dont judge a book by its cover just because it old doesnt mean you wont like it. The are called classics for a reason.

If you want an exciting story the try White Fang or Call of the Wild or Treasure Island.

Little Women is a heartwarming story that is also fun to read.

Don Quixote is my personal fav from that list, but its fairly long(around 950pgs). Call of the Wild and White Fang are both great stories aswell but the writing isnt quite as colorful.

Firstly the old classics you have read if read again you would understand from a higher wise and see more of the archetypes come to life and feel why its a classic . Not a knock on you it is just the nature of creativity .

secondly ...I can t guide you though to the book . It must have a feeling that comes frorm you (relevant to your psych not mine) . It is best to take responsibility for your self not put that on another and you will some day write a novel yourself and be in a class by yourself . I say this in a tone of wisdom not as stern father .

The Count of Monte Cristo if you're looking for a great action book or War and Peace if you're looking for a book that's a wide ranging panorama and probably the best book ever written.

The Call of the wild, and white fang are awsome books. My father is reading them and can't put them down. Basically they are about wolves...from their point of view, and it makes the books just so interesting.
treasure island is also a great book of adventure and treasures, i guess.

If you want to read a classic go for The Hobbit (for an easy fun story). The Lord of the Rings (for an incredible, but long story). Catcher in the rye (easy to read and a good story).

The Count of Monte Cristo, Gone with the Wind, Of Mice and Men, all classics, all good. You said 'a' classic, and I bet the Count is on your list. You could even watch the movie when you get done!

I read all of them already. But if you want to know the greatest of them all, you better read "Treasure Island". Top 1 of the top ten classic novels ever written. Thrilling and it's so much fun to read. Happy Reading!
