Who has an SUV that you love with a lot of rear trunk space? I currently drive a 2000 Ford Expedition that I love. However, I have two sons that play hockey and this SUV doesn't have enough trunk space - which I need. I also don't want to break the bank but I want a nice vehicle. Thanks for honest answers (please no responses about the environment, gas guzzlers, etc.).

By the way, the new purchase I make doesn't have to be a Ford SUV. I'm open to any. Thanks.

you could move up to an expedition they have a lot of room in them, and would probably suit your needs also, and the newer ones are really nice and drive well also, i have a few customers who own these and so far i have heard no complaints from any of them, this might be something that you could check in to,that's about the biggest one you can get as far as room goes though that would be better than what you already have, good luck,i hope this help,s.

Well, the Chevy Suburban and the Ford Expedition XL are the biggest SUV's you can get. If you only have two kids, maybe you should move into a Ford f-150 Supercrew and put a topper on the bed. You can get locking toppers and tailgates. Not only will it be secure, but you could get more use out of it. Not to mention the fact that the bed will be sealed off from the cab so you won't have to smell the sweaty hockey gear any more.

I have had two Expeditions and now drive a Tahoe. They are very similiar in size but the Chevy drives much better. Ford does not make the Excursion any more. Have you looked at the new Expedition XL? It is the new Expedition that is extra long. It has a lot more cargo space.

You have an Expedition (not an Explorer) and you find you have no truck space?
Is the third seat being used?
The only thing bigger is an Excursion or a King Ranch F150
You could try putting a carrier on top for the equipment.
Other than that you need to pull a uhaul.

My mother in law has a Sequoia, which seems to have a lot of storage room, but that's the same size as an Expedition. Maybe you need to move up to something the size of an Excursion.

excursion? if you can find a used one. If you can try and find one with the diesel engine. Driving the kids around town for their sports games will suck up the gas. The diesel's will give better milage.
