There starting rotation could be the worst I ever saw. They could have at least gotten someone. Even with El Duque they were bad. Now without them there horrible. Hopefully the offense can carry the load like avg 7 runs a game

As a life long Mets fan it hurts me to see the best lineup wev'e ever had will be joined by a pitching staff that would be great on oldtimers day .We better score 7 runs a game or it's going to be a long season!!! LETS GO METS!!!!!!

Pretty bad. They will be lucky to finish second behind the Phillies. I just hope Tom Glavin gets his 10 wins so he can retire with the magic 300 career victories.

I don't think it's as bad as everyone makes it seem.Glavine can still pitch and El Duque will be ok sometime soon.Perez was good at one time.The pitching is of course not their strong point but it's not that weak although I bet they are wishing they never traded Scott Kazmir for Victor Zambrano.

bad, they only have two real starting pitchers and neither one of them is under 40. their offense had better be hitting on all cylinders this season because their going to need 8-10 runs a game to win.

Bad enough to not win the division even with that awesome lineup. Maybe they should've shelled out $100M for Zito.
