i am doing a project about what a mac is and what a macintosh is and which one is better. could you please explain both and tell me the difference. thank you

It's all a matter of personal choice as well as what the intended use will be. Mac is great for graphic and video editing, and anything journalism related. PC is best for numbers and games and anything that will push the computer to the limits (usually anyway).

Mac-geeks will swear up and down that Mac is better; they are biased. Non-Mac people will swear up and down, but usually because Windows crashed. (no, I'm not a Mac-geek).

MACS HAVE ALWAYS HAD BETTER security. Pcs were made popular by one click instations but that made them more succeptible to viruses but they were still really popular and had the most software programs. Anymore with windows vista if you set it up right its as secure as a mac.
