If the corporate officer is responsible for the success of the company and shareholders he represents based on his ingenuity,the bonus he receives may be just a small fraction of the business entity. However,if the associates of a company work dilligently to fulfill the requests of their management, technically all they did was follow the requirements of their position. I do believe though, that the productive associates could have received an offset of 7% to increase their salaries back to normal from an otherwise detrimental planned cutback that would have otherwise occurred had there been no success due to that corporate officer.

Would you prefer it the other way round? The reason why corporations get so big and are able to make so many jobs is out of the egoes of their owners being harvested. Why not let the owners write their own paychecks if it drives them to do whatever necessary to keep thousands employed?
