I put the peanut butter one one slice of bread with a knife, then jelly on the other slice of bread with a spoon, then when I put them together, I put the peanut buttered bread on the jellied bread. So if there are rules to making a PB&J, I probably break all of them.

I don't like peanut butter, especially after I found out mine had 2111 on the lid EEEEEEWWWWWWWWW!!!! But I didn't eat any, so I didn't get sick. Oh, I'm kinda off topic here, so.....I used to put peanut butter on one piece of bread, then put the jelly on the other. Um....no.......I don't know of any rules that say you have to put the jelly on first.....

I always put honey on one side of the bread, first. Then I put the peanut butter on the other side and put the two together. I like honey instead of jelly (unless it is homemade fig or apple butter). I like the texture the honey gives the bread when added separately.

If you put jelly first, your able to clean it up faster and better than peanut butter.

I always put jelly first, lick it clean, then put peanut butter and toss the knife on the sink.
