Numerology is the language of numbers and their symbolic meaning. Each number has its own vibration and its own vibratory influence upon the individual. Astrology is built on the belief that Earth is the center of the Universe and what happens in the star patterns overhead on nearby shells on which groupings of stars called the Zodiac include which planets, the sun and moon on the day of birth of a person influence the life of that person forever and can be used to predict the future, at least for today - called a horoscope. Astronomy is built on the confirmed studies of the universe which show that the Sun is the center of our solar system with Earth being like many other objects in orbit around the sun and each other and the solar system is located off on the edge of a spiral galaxy we call the Milky Way which contains multiple millions of stars many with planet systems and the galaxy is only part of the Universe which contains multiple billions of galaxies as large as ours. Once upon a time astrology had a pretty good grasp of what was happening in the heavens. Looking into the flaws and taking observations led to astronomy and the abandonment of any rational belief that the star patterns influenced our lives.

Astrology is natal charts and signs.
Numerology is taking the numbers in your name and reducing them over and over to get numbers for your life path, karmic debt, etc.. Numerology goes a bit of another route of information, try going to a bookstore and thumbing through The Complete Idiots Guide To Numerology, I have it and it's a good read.

Astrology has to do with the planets and their alignment on your birthday, for each planet you have a different sign. Each sign has different characteristics and is active in certain areas of your life. Your zodiac (horoscope sign) is where the sun was placed at your birth. Numerology has to do with numbers, usually in your birth date, sometimes in your name for each letter representing a number. When you add all the digits in your birth date you have your destiny number.
