I have these orangey/yellow marks that are kind of splatted on the hood of my white hoodie. There very small but noticeable. I think that it could be a rust stain of some sort from the rack I hang it up on. Simply washing it doesn't help so what can I do to remove it completely if possible?

It's a cotton hoodie. I was thinking of using bleach but I'm scared it's going to ruin my hoodie and I don't really know how to use it.

Rit makes a rust remover for clothes available at most large stores like Walmart, it will be with the clothing dyes.

You can also use peroxide and lemon juice and leave the hoodie in the sun for several hours.

There is a product in the stores called"rust or red be gone". it is used specifically for what you are talking about. it should be in most retail stores, or try on line. it works o.k. Or you may try the bleach pen by Clorox, now that is really good stuff if your fabric is of right type.

CARBONA products which can be found at most grocery or drug stores work amazing well. They have different formulations for different types of stains. It is the only product I have ever found that will remove rust stains.
