Kelly Johnson will. He has the talent although not the speed to start at the top of the lineup. But lately lead off hitters must be consistent rather than quick. He is a very Giles like player although he is quite a bit taller.

Marcus Giles is now with the San Diego Padres and, from what I have read, Kelly Johnson seems to be the front runner for the job this year.

Right now it looks as if Kelly Johnson or
Martin Prado will be platooning for
the job as the secondbaseman. I don't think
they will use either of them everyday especially with
Kelly Johnson's injuries he's had.

As of today Kelly Johnson has the job. He would have to have a awful spring training to lose it to Chris Woodward.

I was out of the country all of last season, but will be watching this year! I assume Giles will be at 2nd.
