Do you think police officers receive good pay? I mean is $60-64k good enough to live on?

I'm not a cop but they do not ,make no $60 -$64 a year sad but they don't !! & they still put up with all of us !!

My grandson is a police officer in NY he doesn't make near $60-64. He makes just enough for he and his wife to make ends meet. He is thinking of getting a second job even though his wife is working. The Police and others that protect us in the criminal justice department are well under paid. Some times I wonder why kids choose to go into this field. Same with teachers, I think they too are under paid.

that is good pay , if you are not in CA
getting ripped off on gas,housing,etc....
