Yes, it is the speed of light divided by the frequency.
Here's a hint for doing *all* sorts of problems in physics and chemistry. Pay attention to the units.
s^-1 means 1/s. (And is also written Hz, for "hertz.")
So if you're not sure if you need to multiply or divide the two numbers (and which to divide by which), then look at the units.
The unit of speed is m/s. The unit for frequency is 1/s.
And you want a unit of length (wavelength) which is m.
So to get m you need to *divide* m/s by 1/s ... which is the same as multiplying m/s by s (which cancels the s, leaving m).

Next trick: dividing (or multiplying) huge numbers.
3.0 x 10^8 m/s / 4.7 x 10^14 s^-1.
When you divide exponents (10^8 and 10^14) you subtract the powers. So 8 - 14 = -6. So your exponent will be 10^-6.
So the answer will be 3.0 / 4.7 x 10^-6 meters. (You do the calculator.)
I think that's right (that's just off the top of my head.)

maximum frequency implies minimum wavelength as frequency x wavelength = speed speed = 3 x 10^8 m/s minimum wavelength = 4 hundred nm = 4 hundred x 10^(-9) m = 4 x 10^(-7) m So, frequency = 3 x 10^8 / 4 x 10^(-7) = 0.75 x 10^15 Hertz

Velocity of light in vacuum = 3 X10 ^8 m/s (a good approximation)
Frequency = 4.7 X 10^14 cycles/s or Hertz
So wave length = 3 / 4.7 = 0.6383 micrometers

Yes, except the the speed of light is more like 2.9987x10^8m/sec 6,380.787 Angstroms = 638.0787 nanometers = 0.6380787 microns
