I understand to some people she was a joke in the acting world but she did contribute to a few movies and was considered part of the Hollywood crowd. And to some of us she was and always will be a legend.

The deceased honorees all died between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2006. I'm sure she will be included next year

Because she just died. The awards and contributions for artists that are deceased are for movies made last year. So Anna Nicole should receive a nod next year.

That's a GREAT question. I personally don't qualify her as a legend, but much lesser known actors where featured in the montage, she made some filmwork and she should've been there!

I don't recall when her movies were, but the academy awards are for movies from the "prior year" only. I think the only movie Anna was in this past year was the one of her giving birth and that of her wearing makeup and looking like a clown.

if they do add her in the deceased actors, it's going to b next year, bcuz she just died, evrything was written out who all the winners were and things like that. plus she was more of an 'adult' movie star than nehting else although she did play other roles... thnx xand rockon
