hello i have two hard drives on my comp, i just finished formating it but for some reason second hard drive is gone off list in my comp any ideas

it needs to be reinitialized, control panel,administrative tools,computer management, then in left column disk management, drive should show up there and in menu or right click initialize/activate

You must put the second one as BOOTING systems ,as you had programmed the first one to boot able /starting for your windows,if not extension drive and with windows in it,you gain to access,otherwise reinstalls.

Are you sure you have two physical hard drives? or was your hard drive just partitioned and you repartitioned it when you formatted?

Check your bios settings.
