Even if he is healthy, Gagne is in the American League now. He will be facing better hitters in the A.L. That doesn't mean he can't succeed, but I don't think he will be as dominant when he was in the National League.

If he really is healthy, it will be a coup for the Rangers. He has good stuff for a closer since he was once a starter, that helps because reports are he has lost a little on his fastball.

if he is fully and completely healthy, he should nail down the closer job and be productive for the rangers...i'm not saying he'll get 81 saves in a row without blowing one like he did a while back, but he'll be good

I think he will be above average, but I don't think he'll be the threat that he once was.....I hope he is healthy.
