Isn't it a bit racist to use race to define such negative words.

Why they gotta use race?

Colors are not always pertaining to race. A white-lie has nothing to do with race. White is seen a a color of purity, so think of it this way, it more like saying an "innocent lie".

I am not being picky but it is blackmail, not black-male.
As for the reason,I think the words have been around a lot longer since people have being playing the game of political correctness.
Racism is in the attitude and not in the words.
Good& bad white& black, they have always been used as examples of opposites.
If you really think about it there is actually no white people. Nor are there any black people.
There are just people with different levels of melanin in their skin.
If you can't see past the word, then there is a problem.
When I was a kid my favourite book was "Little Black Sambo".
So much I pestered Mum for a Sambo doll.
Never once did I associate my Sambo with anything bad or negative.
He was just a cute character in the book, that I loved and then was banned.
Because it is politically incorrect.
Isn't it strange, I have grown up preferring dark skinned men!

The words are not called "white lie" and "blackmail" (note the spelling), the words are "white lie" and "blackmail." The actions to which they refer are called "white lie" and "blackmail."

The use of colors to illustrate or underscore the meaning has no racial connotation, but refer to the reflection or absorbtion of certain wave-lengths of visible light.

You seem to have confused race and the basic colors that kids learn at kindergarten.
How could that have happened?

They say "white-lie" cause ya'l biitches can get away with anything and it's a way to say that it's just a little lie. They say black-mail (not male) because we know how to get you to do what we want, so we black-mail yo asss...lol.

white lie.....black lie.......has nothing to do with race.......no more than ..white tie or black tie.......it is used simply to distinguish a difference......you can use......blue...& red....if you wish......just tell everyone which is which......................................as far as black male......same thing.......black,white,red,yellow,etc.......just used for easier identification.......................at least in most cases.
