hi !!
yes, indian culture to a great extent is influenced by the west.we fail to realize that we need to uphold & protect our own culture rather than embrace a foreign culture.

can a tree survive without its roots??

how on earth can indians progress by denying their roots??
and anyday''rootage is more important than leafage'' !!
lets look at language for instance,we indians ignore Sanskrit which is the mother of many foreign languages which we indians dream to master.
we ignore our traditional yoga & go for gym while the foreigners themselves try & learn some yoga. foreigners come to india to learn hindustani classical music while ironically our people yawn & say how boring!!
everybody knows who Britney Spears is & about her turning bald, ask them who is Hari Prasad Chaurasia, they don't know!!

lets hope that we can get our future generations to respect their own culture.

cheers & god bless:-)

nicely, i'm no longer even advantageous if all and sundry on Y!A India even lives in India precise now....i'm in Chicago...however the foremost element is that this is stable. this is stable persons are beginning up as much as new concept's. this is stable that in the time of India females are very practically equals now. this is stable that the government is taking extensive strides to help absolutely everyone and be the main stunning u . s . a .. It' stable our movies are being inspired by utilising Hollywood and we at the instant are making undertaking based action picture, no longer love memories as plenty. i think of all this alteration is remarkable! sure little ones have become undesirable conduct, yet so are father and mom. I advise, who hasn't lied to their father and mom? And approximately ding-donging till now marriage, thats been happening perpetually. Indian's did no longer choose white human beings to tell them approximately it. it could have befell ultimately. however the subculture does stay in each and every Indians heart.

Ofcourse yes, b'coz we that means young generation feel proud when they talk in english ,stay whole night out and feel shame in talking in Hindi,in eating Indian dishes, in being contact with parents.Simple hai na, everyone can observe this.

The most important step aginst this must be to increase our moral value and feeling of proud to be an Indian and on our culture, traditional culture i.e. Haya (sharam) in Indian women,to help every one either U know him or not.

certainly, yes. celebrating valentine's day and the weekly bash spending out
thousands of rupees, both the sexes boozing at discos, wwf style coupling
as a pillion rider ,ignoring all customs and manners, unisex wears, munching useless junk foods etc., directionless youth ; pity on them !
a change for the better will happen only if the west itself change..
