They used to be informed about 2 weeks before the ceremony. Now the envelopes are sealed and no-one knows til the night.

No, they do not. There is a private, independent company that tallies the results and seals them in the envelopes. They are sworn to secrecy, so no one knows the results until the envelopes are opened during the ceremony. Not even the producers of the show know. No one but the company that tallied the results knows.

no the envelopes are sealed and the only ones that know are the people at the accounting firm that is in charge of totalizing the ballots and then the people that makes the envelopes and they have a huge legal mess if they open their mouth and spill the beans.
