manipulate others or take advantage of others actually feel remorse or regret. I fell victim to someone manipulating me and when I confronted him he told me "it was all uncalled for" nd he didn't mean it. Yet, he could not remain friends with me and turned cold towards me and said we should not speak anymore. Even though he was at fault, he still has a way of making me feel guilt, sad. IS this what a manipulator does? Do they really feel remorse?

im no expert, but it sounds like he is still manipulating you, so id say yes.. the only thing he probably feels remorseful for is not being as good of a manipulator, in that he was not able to keep you close so that manipulating you would be easier

he manipulated you and you continue to let him. He doesn't want to feel guilty and justifies his actions by blaming you. He feels bad that he was confronted and questioned, but not that manipulated you. Don't waste you time with that person.

it depends on the level of manipulation and how well they know you, for instance i wouldnt feel sorry if i borrowed a dollar from my friend and never gave it back, but if it was 100, then thats a whole other story.....but yeah, that guys an idiot and you should never speak to him again and dont worry, just be happy you wouldnt stoop to his level

yes, he was putting it all on you. Ignore him, the best thing you can do is stay away from him. If he thinks you are weak and easy prey he will keep on using and abusing you.
