Seems like it's just the same generic pulp that wins each year. Generally it's one and only one film that wins in most categories. I mean, do members of this "academy" really view ALL films that come out in a year and make an objective decision, or is it just a big sham..? Do ANY Academy members actually see every film produced in a year?

Or is it all just nonsense.... an opportunity for Hollywood celebs to dress up and pat one another on the back?

Don't care, though. As long as mirren win, that's it.
Well, some members do voting through screening but some just ask thier fellow members. Thats all.
