How many songs?

so far within the last month, i've thought of about 10 different songs, ut i havent yet written them down, and i might forget, any advice on how to push myself onto this task and how to get them "OUT"

and another Q, how many songs do there have to be to make an ALBUM

keep a notebook and a pen with you at all times
so when you feel a flow coming you can just write out your emotions...even if it isnt a lyric, at the end of the day, the wordz can turn into lyrics and make a song.

12-14 is least, you can have an EP (extended play) or an LP (Long play) to even it out
