OK,I joined you in not watching the Oscars tonight.

What do you have against the Bank Of America??? The small portion I did watch I didn't like that the theme was all the energy saving garbage and global warming.
I am certainly not opposed to any of it, but I do not think the Academy Awards is the proper place to throw it at people. I was a bit distracted when Melissa Ethridge was singing and the print was running above her head. It reminded me the line at the bottom of the screen when you watch CNN.
At first I thought it was the words to her song!!

I also have not watched the Oscar's. I think it's over rated and it doesn't matter to me who wins if I like a movie I've found that it's not usually on there anyway. My taste seem to differ from the judges and that's just it we can't change there decision's and if the judges like it they get the award. Not always my choice.

I didn't watch the Oscars because there are too many award ceremonies where Hollywood honors itself.

Didn't know who sponsored them so that was not my motivation for not watching. That whole thing is way too long and overblown. Just wish there was someone left making movies that were worth 12.00 to go see at the theater.
