Simple. It's a lockstep authoritarian value system intolerant of dissent. Those who have no credible voice find it in the pack mentality steeped in religious zealotry and military idolatry. They are usually people either afraid to question anything or are ill-equipped to know how.

You speak about Sudan and blame the Republicans. How you can deny that Clinton was a coward and refused to acknowledge that what was happening in Rwanda was a genocide? Granted, the whole world refused to acknowledge it, including the defunked UN, but maybe as the hegemon we should have done something. Yes, the US most likely acknowledge about the Sudan also. But you can not preach about one thing and ignore that you have the same history.

The chaos, violence, and death can be laid at the feet of Islamofascist terrorists. Blaming Republicans for this war is analogous to blaming Churchill and British Tories for WWII. I honestly don't think they are. It seems to me that Democrats like to make trouble on things that don't matter. They are indecisive and like something until something small goes wrong, and then when asked about their association, they deny all connection.
