Hi,

Anyone who has a fuse panel diagram for Mitsubishi Lancer 1991 GTI? My power locks is not working and need to check the fuse. Unfortunately the fuse box cover was missing. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for all your replies and help. I found a similar fuse box from a friend with Lancer 91 EL model. Checked the fuse and found out that the power locks has 20A which should have 15A only. I replaced it with the correct one but still not working :(. Now I suspect that the lines were already cut and need to go to an electrician. Should anyone need the diagram, I can send it via email. Thanks again.

do you have a test lamp? or digital multi meter to check for power on one side and then the other, alternativly you could pull each fuse out individually and visually check it, and reinstall.

However, make sure you fit the same size fuse, but i wouldnt be putting in anything bigger than 20A (there usually 15A me thinks) Thats the easy bit, you really need to know what caused it to blow? It its had central locking retrofitted, its likely that your actuator has seized and needs replacing. this is a common fault likely to blow ya c/l fuse!

p.s. there only a dozen or so fuses inside the car, cant be too hard to find it!

i own a shop, ands i got an old repair book but it doesn't show the diagram ,it only shows the wiring lay out of it,if you have a 12 volt tester you can turn the key on and probe the fuses and see which one is bad on it,this is how i sometimes have to find a lot of them, usually its also marked in tiny letters sometime what the fuses are for,but a good test light will find it real fast, good luck i hope this help,s.

it's probably the acc fuse, 15 amp. you can call any 'bitsi dealer's parts counter and they'll tell you. you can even get them to print out the fuse box label print at the parts counter if you don't have the owner manual. if you want more of the repair info, any auto supply can get you a chilton's for it for about $20. they can order it, if they don't have it in stock. it'll have all the electrical diagrams.
