There is really no way to know, unless you've been trained and seen a lot of cervixes(to know the difference between open & closed)

its closed, so you can't put your finger tip in it.

I would do a search on cervix positions

"What is the cervix position like during early pregnancy? Can I tell if I am pregnant by observing changes in my cervix?

Observing your cervical position after ovulation will not provide any clues about whether or not you could be pregnant. Whether or not you are pregnant, the cervix usually returns to a non-fertile position in the two weeks following ovulation. "http://www.fertilityfriend.com/Faqs/Cervix-position-and-pregnancy.html

get a pelvic exam from your ob that speculum thing they put in you opens you up for where they can see your cervix and they can also feel how thick or thin it is with they're hand

You should get a ob to check that, it's quick and simple yet uncomfortable.
