I think she did a great job and a Oscar deserving one.
Not only the way she sang her heart out in that movie but the way she played that role as a whole was superb.
"Chubson" LOL - the only question I have is: What the heck happen with that shiny bolero/shrug that she had when entering the red carpet, it was like the freaking Jetsons all over again.

Of course JENNIFER HUDSON deserved an Oscar! She is a beautiful, talented, curvy woman.

She deserved the nomination. But the Oscar should have gone to Adriana Barraza or Rinko for Babel. and she's not chubson. What she has are called "Curves". Alot of people don't seem to know what they are. We're so used to seeing women who look like lillipops. You would have called Marilyn Monroe fat by today's standards.

Of course, the academy award voters don't give the award for poor performance. She's not chubby, she's beautiful and curvy.

Um... in the event that they gave it to her, she deserved it. they do no longer jsut supply them away. She grow to be great in Dreamgirls. Coming from AMerican Idol i did no longer assume lots from her, yet she sand nicely and she or he acted nicely. there grow to be convition in each and every overall performance and each line.
