That rustaway stuff is good penetrating oil, or rust-be-gone, wd-40 works well also. Look at a local Marine Store for Rust or Corrosion eliminator, then go to the ace hardware and buy the same stuff for 50% of what the Marine Brand costs.

Heat up the rim and nuts with a propane torch, then pry it off with a bar. Deflate the tires a bit so they don't build up too much pressure.
Yeah - I had a 95 firefly that had the same problem. It's dead now :( Make sure you don't crack the frame prying the wheels off like i did !

If the lug nuts are intact, try a lubricating oil, let it sit for a while, then you may have to nearly stand on the lug wrench and see if that helps. If the lug nut is broken, you may have to drill it off.

There is a new website, www.corrosionconnection.com and it has a whole section under 'auto' and 'car' that deals with preventing and removing rust from rims. Check it out, it also has products for removing rust from rims

Heat rim with a rose bud. Apply heat to outside of rim working in to the hub. Then heat directly on hub. A larger three jaw puller might do the job if you are able to place the puller bold directly against the hub and the jaws hooked into cut outs on the rim.
