Leftists do tend to stick together. I suppose it should be no surprise that Cuban acting president Raul Castro has expressed his admiration for Gore and his "documentary". I'm sure if there were telecommunications serving the cave in which Osama bin Laden is hiding, he'd be sending his love to Gore as well.

SunsetSam: What are you talking about? The UAE is an independent country and is not part of Saudi Arabia. Nobody has ever accused the government of the UAE of having anything whatsoever to do with terrorists. You might want to actually read a newspaper from time to time.

hyperion: You should really throw away that crack pipe. You make no sense when you write. WTF has Comrade Gore got to do with a couch?

And that makes all of George Bush's friends in the Saudi Emirates (terrorist harbors) okay, then, eh? One can't choose their admirers and maybe the reasons Castro appreciates Gore's movie is for its message of environmental stewardship. Sounds like you want to paint a broad brush of generalized disdain so anyone who doesn't fit in with your political views is immediately stigmatized by others who also conflict.
Why not switch to a shade of gray.....if you can abide Mr. President's buds, why not the guy who actually WON the 2000 race?
REVISION: I read the newspapers. You might want to read them too, and not just the ones Rush Limbaugh revises for you.

That's so asinine. That would be like me asking you if you're happy your mom let you put the old couch down in your "apartment",i.e. the basement?
There are many different officials in many different governments who have come out in favor of it(don't know about the couch thing though),so to take a comment by one guy and then to try and weave it into one of those "Liberals hate America"fantasies the right breed by,well that would be like saying that when your mom gave you the old couch, she was declaring war on your twin size bed over there by the water heater.
My point is,that what your saying is just so much busy talk, just like me talking about the whole old couch in the basement thing. In other words, just because you hope something is true, don't make it so.
I bet she sprung for a new couch.
Read the third paragraph again,slowly.
