Sure you can get in nursing school with those charges, I do not know of any nursing schools that check your criminal record. Your record comes into play when you apply for your license this is dealing with the board of nursing of the state your located in. Go to this website www.ncsbn.org look up your state search around and you should find a table that shows exactly what the standard is for that state. Would not be a bad idea if you get some letters of reference from nursing teachers and others, but seriously I doubt if you should have many problems if those are the only counts against you.

Having any infraction with the law will be questionable in the eyes of an employer. You have to be honest about it and do other things to make up for it. Get excellent grades, go for internships, or even volunteer in hospitals. Be sure to have people who can give you excellent letters of reference.
I have known other nurses and LPNs that have been more trouble with the law than what you have. I would check with your counselors or with a lawyer if you really need to to settle your nerves. I'm sure you can work towards your goal.
If I were you, I would go for an RN. You will get paid much better than an aide or LPN. It is not so much more work and time.

I know that you could become a police officer with such a minor record provided some time had lapsed (minor or adult). I suspect that means becoming a Nurse would be no more difficult, although I have no experience in Nursing.

The question is not how old the charges are, but how old you were when charged. Any charges as a minor are sealed. No one can view them. However, since the charges aren't felonies you should be okay. Usually things like assault, abuse/neglect are concerns because of their nature. Of course every state varies slightly.

I believe you can get into nursing school with your record but when it comes to board exams and licensing, they might not give it to you. To be sure, talk directly to that school. But as far as I know, they won't let you take boards and receive licensure.

Probably, I know teachers with worse. If you got an SIS then you probably don't even have to tell them.
