Care for a little cheese and crackers to go with that whine? The "Global Warming "truth"" is the same one being toted by the same guys in the 70s who also told us that the long lines at the gas pumps were because the world was suddenly running out of oil and within ten to fifteen years, there'd be no more... Ah, the war in Iraq? You must have slept through the 90s and the UN 's cease fire negotiation for Desert Storm. AND, of the repeated cease fire violations... Or the 80s when Reagan sold WMD technology to Iraq. So, I'm guessing that you slept through all of the diplomatic wrangling to try and avoid going back to war with Iraq. I'm guessing also that you've missed the point that the world economy is based exclusively on oil. It's probably all right that you would like to believe whatever BS lie the "rest" of the world is buying into, they're mostly apologists who got caught in the corrupt Food For Oil program. Rewriting the "facts" to suit their needs and political agendas. Maybe some day when you wake up from your nap, when you're all gown up, you will realize the truth. Your name is Cheeser.

Rick is correct. Global warming is a theory. There is no such thing as a fact, just commonly accepted illusions. Political parties are about getting and maintaining power. They all have the same agenda. They will adopt any stand on any issue that will get you to vote for them.
As far as global warming goes, if it exists it was not caused by human activity nor can it be reversed by human activity. However if we could get every human being and every other warmblooded animal on the planet to hold their farts in for the next several millenia, it might help! Just a theory, though.

I know it's difficult to use modern conveniences with also having respect and regard for our environment. There are many ways to simplify our lives and do the best we can for the environment and the generations to follow. Sometimes I think the old ways were the best ways. You might want to check into some of the practices and beliefs of the early Native American Indians in regard to spirituality and concern for the land. The lack of arrogance is refreshing, they really focused on preservation and humility. There was honor. Look what is happening now in our world, it's very sad for our children and future generations.

Oh, probably for the same reason that head dem Bill Clinton was having sex with an intern in the White House, and that Al Gore produced a film featuring a digitally created polar bear swimming in the open ocean to support a theory that many scientists think is inaccurate. Go figure...

actually we are to blame for the crisis at hand. We didn't get out and vote in the numbers that the republicans did and we also nominated a complete idiot the last election. But, the republican party is based on fear, so I guess we need to start using fear. The republicans tell their party to get out and vote or the gays are going to get them and eat their children. So, I guess we need to start telling people to vote democrat or the world is going to end.

Are you forgetting the Democrats in congress who not only voted for the war but still support it? Don't get me wrong, I hate both parties, but you are forgetting that there are moderates to each party and to place blame solely on one side is not only ignorant, but extremely hypocritical.

What makes some liberals so arrogant that they think anyone who has a worldview different from theirs is sick?

Most Republicans are neither blind nor arrogant, but I'm sure you already know that.
