Well, he was an excellent Vice President...
He won the 2000 Presidental Election, but had it stolen by a 5-4 Majority Decision of the US Supreme Court...
And I sincerely hope that he runs for President in 2008....

Boring, uninspiring, aloof, can't stand on his own two feet, claims credit for things he didn't do. Creates junk science when the facts don't match his expectations. Couldn't get a real job outside of government, flailing around trying to stay afloat.

He's a dedicated man, who is intelligent, and is able to make his point clearly and logically, as he did in An Inconvenient Truth.
Fyi to jay: I don't remember Al Gore saying anything about vehicle exhaust and the ozone. That was caused by aerosol cans. Try getting your facts straight before you say something. (also, did it ever occur to you that exhaust can travel in more than one direction? What if it's composed of multiple chemicals?)

He's eloquent, passionate, relentless, undaunted. The first political figure to oppose the Iraq war, Al Gore is also the lead champion in the fight against global warming, a passionate defender of our Constitution, and an unyielding voice against the Bush Administration's abuse of power.

He is ambitious, but he is a special interest piggy just like the rest of them. He might have a few good ideas and a few bad ones, but he is more concerned with his party and special interests to be a good leader.
