what is a gory,long,fun, first person shooter on the ps2?

not really terribly long but resident evil 4 is a lot of fun, its 3rd person though but the camera angle is over the shoulder and feels like an fps to me at least.
and who doesnt want to kill nonzombie infected spanish people..lol
if you have a gamecube i suggest it on that though it plays better

if one of your freands have a xbox try doom 3
because there are no long shootem up games on ps2
