Personally, I was not impress with any of the contestants this year. Many of them lack originality. They all sound the same and have no unique style. I guess it is too early to say but that's what I got with my first impression. At least in Season 5 you got Kelly Pickler's good old southern charm, Chris Daughtry's good rock voice, and Taylor's unique style. This season is just lame!!
I hope AJ (who reminds me of Alfonso from Fresh Prince), Antonella, Leslie, and Sanjaya go home...I think all 24 should go home. What do you think?

I think they all suck, american idol should have ended after the first 2 seasons, those were the only good ones. Maybe the third

I think there is a lot of yawn factor out there this year, but having said that.....Lakisha jones made me cry, that girl has some pipes and a ton of emotion....rooting for her all the way....
I think antonella is going home and not just casue she can't sing, she and her friend were mean and now there is some really trashy stuff on the internet with her pictures...I think they will off her this week, I mean kick her out.
I like Sanjayya alot and I like Leslie too, but I can't see anyone beating Lakisha....she really is great....

hmm.. well im with you when u said abt chris and kellie.. but taylor i kinda hated him.. season 4 was the best great talents so was season 5.. well were still in the first weeks of the top 24 in season 6.. i like almost all of them but i dont rly love many as i did in season 4.. i disagree with u when u said sanjaya and antonella should go.. but leslie and aj it doesnt matter.. but really the ones i love r blake and alaina.. but there r many that i like.. and few i hate..which are paul kim thank god he left.. and leslie, stephanie, and the mom ...4 yr old daughter i forgot her name.. the black woman which the judges loved

I think so 2. Every1 this season sucks! I miss ppl as good as Chris Daughtry. He should've won. Anyway Stephanies pretty good, but no1 is special on the show. Ppl say Randy got mean, but I think now he's being more open and more opinionative. Well bye!

I agree. I just can't get into it this year. None of the contestants are that great. I think the most talent is the guy who does the "beatboxing."

i have a few favs, but not as much as last seasons. But I think we still need to give it a few weeks so we get attached to them.
After a season is over, it's hard to think you can become attached to completely new ppl all over again.

I agree with you, none of these people really impress me. But if i had to pick one of them, I'd pick Blake. He's the best guy in my opinion.
