My boy is talking about some stupid test he took for a paraprofessional license. What is a paraprofessional? Even though I know it's something silly, what kind of job can you receive as a paraprofessional?

There are paraprofessionals in many fields. The most common are law (paralegals) and medicine (paramedics). I've never thought it was silly - I've been a paralegal for nearly 20 years now. I make a great salary and don't have to worry about the insane hours that I'd have to put in if I was an attorney.

You can assist a professional. It's not silly. It's actually a good way to make connections and learn in your field while you study to become a professional.
