I am trying to think of the right words. I can think in my head of how she reacts, but I can't of the right words. This girl's father is murdered when she's a child and now years later he has been watching her and photographing her every move. What are some adjectives I could you to describe her facial expressions?

I gave the basic because I assumed that would be enough. There would be a lot more to explain. And I am not changing my name ever! I love it too much.

Sometimes when the words won't come, it helps to turn to different senses. Try drawing what her face looks like -- it doesn't matter if you can draw or not. Just the act of drawing might jog loose the right words. Try looking in magazines and finding faces that look like hers. Try pairing background music to the scene.

Adjectives are sometimes overrated. Just describing what she is doing in the picture might be enough.

Also, don't be afraid to overwrite. You can always cut what you don't like. Draw her pic in the middle of a blank piece of paper, and surround it with all the things that pop into your head. Don't worry if it doesn't make much sense -- it may trigger an association.

Also, try looking for Jennifer Crusie's posts on collage making. She uses art to help her shape her stories.

Well, Roos..., I would personally have liked a bit more of explanation and words going into it. The question for now is a complicated affair. From whatever I guessed(hoping I guessed it right;) I think that those who killed her father are now behind her. So, the she must have expressions of 'watery determination', 'scepticism' and 'worry'. In an extreme case that its her own murdered father taking the snippets, she would be 'in disbelief','anger' and 'horror'.
I hope I played my part. Tell me, what you chose at last.
(also get your nickname changed to a shorter one Roos...)
