Do they talk to each other, go to each other's home, etc? Do their respective companies have any interest or dealings with each other? Apparently they came together over the weekend with their mother to celebrate their mother's 75th birthday.

Blood is thicker than water, they say!!! Therefore, I'm sure that they still have a fair bit of brotherly affection for each other. They, of course, talk to each other and visit each other. (Their respective wives are not so friendly to each other, though). The brotherly bond will remain until their mother is alive, and may weaken after she leaves the scene. But, it will never go away completely.
However, this brotherly bond probably does not extend to their business dealings. That is, they are and will compete against each other; no quarters are asked and none given. In that sense, the two companies do deal with each other already.
