I am Glad that a young seventh place finalist on American Idol that gave a long speech about how terrible American Idol was in so many ways could win an award. I am glad that they hurt Smokey Robinson's feelings by changing history and making the character that Hudson played the leader of the singing group the Supremes - which is what the movie is about. I am glad that it is done in a season of the black history month, disregarding and destroying black history. I am glad that a young first timer is given an award that many others have deserved for several decades. And I am glad she is there to hold up the careers of Eddie Murphy and Beyonce and not the other way around. Good for her.
