can you answer this? why do people...?

Question

ive seen girls laugh to something thats not even funny (in other words fake laughing) and people wear things that are not comfortable but they wear it anyways.
high heels for an example, ive heard those can be uncomfortable... so then why do girls wear them?
i know its most likely self a steam but what about things like girls talking to another, than they seem to laugh, but obviously they are not laughing... why?

Ive noticed too and its weird, but mostly because in any group your going to have a dominate person and the rest become followers, with out even realizing it, the followers laugh at the what the leader says if he/she is laughing to gain acceptence. As far as wearing uncomfortable stuff, I do this all the time, I love high heels, and uncomfortable clothes, because it seems like you feel like you look good, and it is hard to manage, thats why not everyone does it, but when you do people notice.

I think a lot does have to do with self esteem. Most people: male or female feel the need to be/feel liked, to feel attractive or desirable to the opposite sex.
In regards to high heels, most of the time those bad boys aren't all that comfortable, esp if they are stilettos, but high heels make you look slimmer, taller, and sometimes a bit 'sexier'. Some outfits just look better with a bit of heel added to it. As my friends and I often say, sometimes you have to suffer a little to be cute.
Laughing sometimes when things aren't funny can be a sign of nervousness, sometimes people laugh when they are nervous, trying to fit in, appear witty, etc.

because people are social animals and most want to be with a group, preferably a "in" group. Then some of them get trapped in it. As for high heels, some women wear them to attract men or to appear taller. Overall there is way too many reasons.

self esteem......okay,women wear heels to tone their butt. When a woman laughs in the presence of a man,though it's not a REAL laugh,it means she finds him interesting. A woman may also wear a peice of clothing that may not be comfortable but she looks good in it.

Anyway, I like heels--they make me feel taller. I won't wear them if they hurt my feet. I sometimes laugh out of boredom -- sometimes it energizes me to laugh.. But I only "fake laugh" whenever I am making fun of someone--like if a friend makes a stupid joke, I'll pretend to laugh.

when i talk to girls, or anyone for that matter, that i don't like its only because i dont want to be impolite. i wear uncomfortable clothes/ shoes because they look pretty, i do things that i dont want to do to make others happy or its my job.so basically people do things so that they look a certain way for other people.hope it helps you...
