I've always wondered why in halo 1, you look down and can't see masterchief's feet, but in halo 2, you can. Any logical explanation for this?

Halo 1 was made to set the standard of shoot em up gameplay against your friends with a great story for solo players. It had to be great, but being the 1st it didnt have to be perfect either.
Halo 2 needed more attention to detail to try to be better than the first, so they probably added features like this.

halo two the makers threw alot of the untold crap in from the first...
the second game had to be better than the first or there would have been no point to release it... if a game is expected to be better you have to make it better or it wont sell..
