I have tried looking on eBay. There are no hat stores of medical stores anywhere around me. Anywhere else?

And I've tried looking at costume patterns and even the "adult" nursing outfits, but they are generally fake or paper or pinned on, as opposed to a real cap.
No, nurses don't usually wear them to work anymore, but nearly all graduate nurses wear them for their graduate picture and pinning ceremony.

have you tried wal mart or hobbie lobby.. i have found some at both places before... i hope this helps..

I typed ,nursing caps, into yahoo, one of the hits was ebay, I clicked on it and found a whole page of nursing caps and, I believe patterns.

If you mean those old, weird white hats they used to wear, it's because no one has worn them in decades (at least in America). Your best bet is going to be getting one from a costume shop or online site, but you might have to buy an entire slutty lil nurse costume to get it, lol.
