It depends on the tattoo. I have seven of them myself. Talk to a tattoo artist, and get them to design something around the ideas you have. They will know what looks good, and where it will look good.

Also, work on a design that works with the natural curves of your body. Those are the sexiest tattoos for ladies. Women's curves are abeautiful thing, and a well places and designed tattoo will accentuate that. But, a badly designed and placed tattoo will take away from that natural beauty.

Ask a lot of questions, and you will get your monies worth.

Above all though, when you walk into a tattoo shop, it should remind you of a hospital, concerning cleanliness. If it does not, walk out and go somwhere else.

I have some ink done and I think it's very sexy on wamen. BUT, do not get a tramp stamp.

Get something that has meaning to you, maybe your kids names or a picture of them, or maybe a cross, or religous symbol.

Don't get a tattoo that is stupid and you will not like in 2 years and don't get a tattoo that is 'trendy' or will go out of style.

Watch the show "Miami Ink" on the learning channel on tuesday nights. Very interesting look into the thoughts of why people get them. Do your research and know the artist that you use very well, go in and talk with them several times first and look at their portfolio. If they don't have a portfolio, leave.

I love tattos, but be VERY CAREFULL, you can't wash them off with soap and water. Perhaps you should get a few temporary ones first and see how you like them.

Small is better... A lot of people are going to wake up one day and say to themselves "what was I thinking".
A smart person would invest in tattoo removal equipment in the next two or three years.

ppl would think you're easy for a tattoo in your lower back? *OMG* I can't believe ppl think like that... don't listen to those j**ks, a small one would be nice... it all depends on the design and how you want it, maybe once you choose your design you should go to the tattoo shop and ask an expert how it would looks better... I have a small tat on my shoulder that means I'm easy or hard? come on!!!

depends what you get
if you don't want it big get a little one
go and see which one you like better and get it because you are the one who has to live with it for the rest of your life
you can get tribal across the bottom or something real small but make sure you are happy with it

I had one in my lower back. I find mine really cool, not trashy or too common. My fiance definitely not a fan, but I received compliments from friends and strangers.

Why not put one on your nose? Tattoos are the single, trashiest thing a woman can do to such a beautiful body. Pity.

use the temporary tattoos to find something you like.

Make sure you LIKE IT ALOT before you get it permanently inked.
