I think everyone knows those people who are incredibly charming, always know the right thing to say, and just have a sort of magnetic personality that draws everyone in. Can anyone give me some tips on how to be more charming and confident towards other people? I'be had a somewhat hard time making friends this semester at college and it's starting to get to me :(

There are different dimensions of charm .. AS you are talking abt college life so let me tell u .. ... Carry urself well . Wear what suits ur physique. Maintain ur dignity .. Have a good knowledge on all current topics . Score well in ur exams n projects . Be helpful ..Comunicate with all with a smile . If you like a particular quality of a person .. appreciate him or her for that..
Dear , these are not only for college life but applies in all areas of life . So i am sure if u will start practicing them ,,, one day u will surely be most charmin woman on universe ..

I'm sure people have told you to just be yourself, which can be annoying, because you are looking to change a bit. You need to look at yourself. Do you criticize? Are you too sarcastic? Maybe, just a little too shy? If so, try downplaying some of the negative traits, and play up some of the positive. You can do it. I think also, if you find the right group of friends, you'll fit right in. You'll be ok.

Be yourself as you look, minimum make up.
Dress modestly in whatever suits you best and use subtle perfumes--take people's opinion.
Do not speak too much and try to show off. But take pleasure in what is going around in talks.
Show sincere concern and even try to help people around you, if you can when they are in some difficulty--no hollowness.
Do not show off while shopping by throwing money around, indiscriminately.
In short, you must present an image of what good education has taught you.
