It was a joke...or at least an attempt at one. He was making a joke about how all speeches at Oscars have to end when the music plays.

Al Gore has been a career politician he was a senator forever for Tennessee but the citizens of Tennessee felt he had become a liberal highbrow and he ended up not even being able to carry his home state when running for President.

It looks as if he's done with politics.

You apparently have no sense of humor. This was staged. This was a "joke". Al Gore would never (ever) announce his running for US President on a "TV" show.......................

(assuming he has intentions to announce at all)

Yeah I found that quite disappointing that he didn't finish what he was going to say lol. Anyhow, the way he ended it could suggest anything!

He did not have enough time. Also all the people from the right will start yelling that he took over the spot light. They are already yelling!

I know..He is teasing us. I think he is playing very smart. It wouldn't surprise me if he ran for president at the last mintue and this is all a ploy to see if we really want him and to see what everyones reaction would be to him running.

I personally would love it. He is more american than any of the ones currently running and he has proven his devotion to our earth with his current work.

Someone who cares is who we need
