I am not sure what type of sink would have a drain plug you can not remove but if it is one of those where u pull a lever behind the faucets you CAN unscrew the top part of the drain it is just like a cap and then take a coat hanger and go down the drain and twist it left and right and then pull it out if you come out with a bunch of yuck- do this again and again until it comes out with nothing on it and then pour about 1/2 cup baking soda down it and then a cup of vinegar it will start to foam up let it do that and let it sit for about 1/2 an hor and then run really hot water down the drain and if needed do all of the above again. If this solves the smell do the BS & V about once a month and it will keep drain clean from gunk and keep smelling nice!

Use bleach in the drain to make the smell go away. For the kitchen also, and once a week put some down the drains to keep them fresh.

i'd advise utilizing a drain cleanser. you would have some vomit stuck interior the U bend of the pipes!! After the drain cleanser, depart the tap operating for a reliable 15-20 minutes. Then pour some bleach down there and enable it sit down undisturbed for in one day. interior the morning, run the tap lower back for 15-20 minutes. If that would not remedy it, i do not comprehend what is going to. Have your buddy throw up interior the rest room next time, eh? Flushing is a lot a lot less complicated!!

If bleach does not work you need to suspect improper plumbing. There must be a trap, sort of a U shaped pipe under the sink. The purpose of the trap is to trap water and seal-off sewer gas from leaking into your bathroom. If the bathroom is not used often, just run some water in case it dried out.

if you mean your not able to remove the drain clean out plug then pour boiling water down the drain or stick a coat hanger through the stainer, Vinegar will help a little but it is probable full of soap scum and hair and you need to clean that out so that it flows faster.

Wait - this is a joke. You can't drain the sink and now it smells and you want to know what to do about it? Okay, I'll play along. I suggest moving to another place.

Yep have to give it up to Ms Q... As that is the trick.. Bleach only takes care of it for awhile.. Lemon Juice can help along after you clean out the Baking Soda and Vinegar... To help kill the Vinger smell and give that fresh bathroom scent.

An inexpensive way to deal with it is, Baking soda and vinegar followed by lemon/orange rhine juice 5 minutes later.
