I would say no, when we say man is now able to all this stuff like transplants of organs, that does not raise the human up to degree to play with God's creation at all.

His creation is beyond the full grasp for human kind. I think all medical science clubbing together would fit into the tip of a pin compared to the vast oceans of knowledge and excellence you see in the nature, every conceivable thing including human body.

So in my opinion we should be happy that science is advancing and can do such things like transplantation but still we are much much far to reach to the vast ocean of knowledge who is GOD THE CREATOR AND SUSTAINER of all.

Thanks

God has a plan and in that plan we will only find out what He reveals to us. All things have a purpose in that plan even if we have good and bad impressions (thoughts) about it. I believe that cloning for example should be left alone for the most part but in reality cloning is creating nothing new all the parts are already created by God. I think however, we should not be flippant in doing away with life that He has created. Or playing around with His plan. We are created in His image (don't forget our spiritual parts). This makes us (man) unique in creation (nature). He has vested in us much power more than we realize. We all know the miracles of God that are recorded and they are quite amazing but we are told that we have the ability if tuned into His plan to do even greater. Isn't that something? The problem is we let our humanity (nature) get in the way. Yes God allows us the alility to manuver the natural world and perform amazing natural miracles. However it is the spiritual part of us that has the greater amount of power. Such a shame we look for ways to raise the man and lower the spirit. However God gives all the power to choose and in that is our greatest God given power. Time will end, that is a universal belief (even the big bangers believe that) and God also assures us it will. The spiritual world will not ever end it is eternal and has no function of nature as we know it or time. The Spititual World is the true reality not time and nature (the entire universe) as man would like to believe. We, mankind, are so blind we even get that turned around. Where will you (your spirit) be when time ends? You can know, ask God. .....................?

If you don't believe in "God" then the answer is "of course not"!...

Paradoxically, if you DO believe in "God", and that He is omniscient and 'all-powerful', the only logical answer is "of course not"!

What kind of 'pious' human would believe in a God powerful enough to create the world, yet think that God too dumb to have had a hand in pointing His creation in the right direction to make such astonishing progress in science? Do you have room in your world for a God who somehow thinks it is "wrong" to take the liver from a child tragically killed in a car accident and use it to save the life of another child with a failed liver?

As an agnostic, I have no idea whether there really is or isn't a "God", but if there is, I can't help believing "He" would be disappointed in us if we DIDN'T explore all of science...

Good question(s).

Do I think man plays God ... absolutely!

Even more than that, man creates God. Ever see an animal in the wild wearing a religious symbol by their own choice? Animals don't have Gods, only people do.

Since the only way we know of God's desires is through Man's interpretation of them (Man with a capital M, representing human's seeing themselves as the only beings "made in God's image") how can you ever know what God's desires are? All information regarding God is second hand.

man has gone against God's desires since Adam and Eve. This is nothing new for man's unability to follows desires

No i don`t think so.I think that it is our nature. If it is beneficial to our survival it has to be good.I think god wants us to do this.He is the one that makes us that smart.Only religious hypocrites would say it is wrong. They need to quit living in the past.

indeed,this is a good question!!!

it was GOD who created man and it is believed that he wished man to live as long as he could.....that is extend his life span and live on earth and do some good deeds and develop himself!@!!

but on the other hand our humans developed themselves a lot by destroying the environment!!!

so it is not GOD's wish that Man should Die or something like that cause he is the one one created HUMAN BEINGS!!!!

Perhaps we are all "Gods", within ourselves and express out "godliness" in our day to day dealings with the world!

So, we shouldn't use the brains we were given?
Do you always reject presents given to you, because you question the givers intention? (I mean nature, not your fantasy being)
