how do i fix my scratches on a game?

my smackdown vs raw 07 runs ok but then after a match it freezes or if i go online it will freeze

I heard peanut butter(original not chunky) works, I used it once and it worked, just put it on, then let it sit, then wipe in off, till you can't see anymore peanut butter up there. But I currently use the "Gamestop Disc Skip Fixer" it works good. It costs about $5 i think, or a little cheaper.

Gamecrazy has something called Game disc buffing if you become an MVP for $20. It gets rid of ALL the scratches on the disc, its remarkable.
