Al Gore could have made a "documentary" about cow tipping and he would have won an academy award. There's no surprise here. Hollywood will pick films, or music groups, that are perceived as anti-conservative everytime. Remember Farenheit 911? I believe much of that "documentary" was questioned as well, but here's a gold stautue for you. It's always going to be this way.

Why would cons be cursing? Gore's powerpoint slide show movie was a shoo-in for "Best Documentary." It has everything the judges were looking for. We saw Moore win with the wildly fictional F911 (which was at least entertaining) so why would we be surprised to see Gore's snoozer of film win in the same category?

Come on,everyone knew that was a given with Hollywood. Not like it's a surprise. Will he make a movie about Global Cooling now?

Yes but just like the Dixie Chicks at the Grammys, Gore's win was purely political. Even many liberals will tell you that Gore heavily distorted his "facts" in his film.

Al Gore could produce a movie on how he almost stole Florida in 2000. Too bad nobody would go to see it. it would be -$1.5 billion at the box office.
